To increase the security of your accounts, the vast majority of technology services and resources use a form of dual authentication, known as 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication), 2SV (2-Step Verification), or MFA (MultiFactor Authentication).
When you activate a dual authentication feature for your accounts, when access is performed from devices that have not been previously authenticated, or even with each new access, the service or resource may ask the user to complete an additional step to gain access to it. This confirmation may be through a confirmation message on a cell phone, a numeric code received by SMS or email, a confirmation in an application installed on the cell phone, or even a phone call providing a specific code to be entered during the authentication process.
Below are the knowledge bases explaining how to activate 2-factor authentication for accounts on some of the most common services:

Remember that named accounts are called this because they identify the operator accessing the resource, and therefore this access should not be shared with other people. The holder of this access is responsible for its security.
