The SerproID Desktop program, required for users who use Serpro's A3 cloud certificate, adds a scheduled task to Windows during its installation process, which runs periodically. This task is named "SerproID Update," but it appears to be poorly implemented, as the task runs using the user who performed the installation and also opens a command prompt to execute.
The result of these factors causes visual interference on the user's screen and removes focus from the active window the user is working on at the moment.
To resolve this issue, you can change the "SerproID Update" task in Task Scheduler to run using the SYSTEM user instead of the logged-in user. Another option is to modify the task to run when the user logs in or locks the session instead of running daily at a specific time.
Note that it was not possible to verify the effectiveness of the task (whether it achieves its intended purpose) when run using the SYSTEM user.
