You can add your Microsoft 365 account to the native Mail, Calendar, and Contacts apps on iOS and iPadOS (the operating systems for iPhone and iPad devices) by adding an Exchange-type email account in Settings > Apps > Mail > Add Account.
Microsoft 365 accounts support the "modern authentication" mode described in the article. By following the indicated process and selecting this option, a Microsoft screen will appear for you to log in with your account.
You can also follow the visual step-by-step guide below:
Open the "Settings" app
Scroll down to the "Apps" menu
Select "Apps"
Scroll down to the "Mail" item
Select "Mail"
Select "Email Accounts"
Select "Add Account"
Enter your email and confirm
If this option does not appear, move to the next step - Select the provider "Microsoft Exchange"
Check your email address and description; you can change the description if you want, then click "Next"
It should ask if you want to configure manually or sign in; select "Sign In"
Select "Continue" when it asks you to sign in at microsoftonline.com
